My stories ALL center around two consenting adult women in romantic relationships, and the overwhelming majority of them are of explicit content. If this is not something you are comfortable with, I thank you for stopping by, but you should probably look somewhere else for something to read.

  1. Nice website! Thanks for linking to it from your ff page. Hope you use your new nom de plume when you decide to publish. (It will be easier to find your books and e-books to purchase!)

  2. Nicely done this! Your blog has now officially got The Minion’s stamp of approval – I’ve been meaning to comment for a while now but ah well, you know how it is 😛 looking forward to more of your original work! Much love from The Minion! 🙂

  3. Love your DEBs fanfic. Any chance that you’ll give your fans an update chapter soon? Hope so.

  4. Serendipity – best fanfic I have ever read. can’t even tell you how many times I found myself simling I couldn’t put it down. Wish this story would never end!; you are an amazing writer.

  5. Love your writing! Some of the absolute best Em/JJ and Jane/Maura fics out there. Thanks for sharing your talents with us!

  6. Hi there MJ Duncan,
Don’t know your gender but I have to compliment you about your outstanding fanfic writing of A/O from SVU.
    Great pleasure reading it.
    Keep going, 🙂

  7. Hello MJ Duncan, I just finish Second Changes and I’ll re-read it again. I really loved it. Will there be an sequel?

  8. Love all your work! If you’re into Once Upon a Time at all it would be nice to see what you could and would do with the characters Regina and Emma. Just a thought…

  9. When is your next book coming? Seriously can’t wait. My favorite couple is Ms. Fitzpatrick and Nakamura. You should write a short about their Wedding

    1. I’m glad you enjoyed Anna and Bryn’s story. As to your suggestion, I appreciate that you want to read more about them, but their story is complete as far as I’m concerned. However, I can’t rule out cameo appearances by them (and my other characters) in future projects… 🙂

As for when my next book will be out, I’m in the middle of working on it and don’t have a real idea yet of when it’ll be finished. Summer is a busy time around here and I don’t get a lot of time to sit down and work, but I plan to get back on schedule with it in September.

      Thanks so much for reading!

  10. I want start by saying that all of 3 books you wrote are absolutely amazing. My favorite is Spectrum…and I have a question about it. At the Epiloge Anna and Bryn are being Interviewed, the last question is how they met, What does Anna mean by a Dare? Nothing is mentioned of any dare.

    Love your Work

    1. Aww, thank you! Spectrum is my favorite too, so far. 🙂

As for the dare…. Ah, crap. That may have been a detail I forgot to rework in when I switched the story from alternating POVs to strictly Bryn’s.

It really isn’t anything earth-shattering. Basically, on the day Anna & Bryn met, Anna was taking Di and Mitch out for a drive in her new car. They dared her to punch it, she did, excessive speed + grasshopper = crash.

I’m sorry about the confusion this caused, but kudos to you for noticing. This story went through 4 different beta readers (5, counting me) and nobody else caught that.

      Thanks so much for reading.

    1. Aww, thank you! I’m trying to get the first draft of my next one finished, but with the holidays and everything going on right now, real life has pretty much taken over my writing-time. That being said, I hope to get it all sorted/edited/ready-to go by March. *crosses fingers*

  11. Hi Mjduncan

I have read Spectrum a few times and I love it, its my favorite romance. But there is something I’m always wondering. Which one of the both of them said ‘I Love You’ first? I guess that for the both of them it would be special considering that Bryn has never had someone to say those words to her except maybe from Kendall, hearing it from Anna first would have being something incredible or Anna from Bryn first because those are words that Bryn hasn’t use maybe never towards anybody except again to Kendall.
It would mean a lot to me if you can give an answer.

    1. Hi there. Thanks so much for giving Spectrum a try—I’m so glad to hear that you enjoyed it. As for your question regarding the big ILYs: Bryn had started dancing around saying those three-little-words a couple weeks after she returned home from Boston. She even went so far as to prepare a nice little candlelit dinner at Spectrum so she could “do it right”, but she chickened out. After the third such dinner, Anna realized that Bryn was not just trying to make up for the way she behaved in Boston, but was genuinely trying to work up to something. So, she stepped up and said it first, knowing that while Bryn was trying, she just didn’t have the experience or self-confidence to put herself out there like that. The relief on Bryn’s face was unmistakable, and the tears in her eyes when she whispered it back, her voice cracking with emotion, was something Anna will never forget.

      1. My next one will be out this Friday. I have added the cover art and summary for it to my Original Fiction page, and will update with a link as soon as it’s out. 😀

  12. Have read all four of your books now. Not my usual reading choice, but Joss and Maeve caught my eye in kindle unlimited, and I love George. So I have read all four now and love your writing. I could see Baby our Saint Bernard in evevy thing George did. We lost her at age 7 two years ago to cancer. We have two new rescue babies ana our friends say only we would call a 60 lb and a 70 lb dog just “little boys”.
Keep up the good work, look forward to the next, even if I have to skip so e pages so I do not feel like too big a perv

  13. So in love with your characters…just finished Veritas and Atramentun. I’ve already been imagining Joss and Maeve aboard Grey’s boat on their honeymoon. Hope you keep finding new characters and inspiration to entertain our obsession for fluffy sexy lady love. I came across your books on kindle not realizing I may have read your Rizzles stories some time in the past. Glad to see a fanfic writer enjoying more success. Congrats.

  14. I love your writing style!!! I have read all of your books, and some fan fiction. Your ability to relay your characters inner struggles, and emotions toward one another are exquisite!! Keep up the great work!!
P.S. I love that the characters always get their happy ending!!

    1. Happy endings are the best, aren’t they? Thank you so much for reading and taking the time to leave me such a lovely note, I really do appreciate it!

  15. The characters that you write have such depth and emotion that as I read I couldn’t help but feel everything that they were feeling. I read all the books on Amazon within 4 days and then found your site and I am about to start reading your fanfiction. You are a writer who’s work I could continue to read – I love reading and I have read 89 books so far this year and your 4 are in my Top5!! Keep up the fantastic work,

    1. Hey there! Sorry I’m only just responding, life has been keeping me on my toes lately and I honestly forgot I had this message sitting here. But to answer your question, YES! I’m just putting the finishing touches on my next book, Symphony in Blue, right now and I hope to have it out in the beginning of April. I’ll be blasting updates on my twitter/Tumblr soon. Thanks so much for reading!

      1. Just finished the new one! It’s awesome and very well done. Was a little put off at first by the twist at the beginning, but you pulled it off beautifully and tastefully! Can’t wait for the next one!

    1. Thank you! I’m putting the finishing touches on Symphony in Blue right now and am hoping to have it out in early April. I’ll be blasting info for it on my twitter and tumblr very soon!

      1. You are an incredible talent. I’m well into Symphony in Blue (Scrabble scene) and am enjoying it so much. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

  16. I have just finished reading all of your books. Should have done them in order, but I didn’t realize when starting Atramentum just how hard this story was going to hit me. Not like a rather large dog, but more like a freight train.
I have never cried harder over a story than i did reading Veritas; your ability to bring out the raw emotion that the women were feeling left me momentarily unable to continue reading when Lauren returned and was standing on the dock.
I also liked how you revealed more of Charlie’s story, like at the running track with Mac, watching the layers of her life peel off, like an onion. In more ways than one, as the tears accompanied her revelations.
Anyway, only trouble I have had in any of your stories is in visualizing Dana Ryan and Regan Waterman in my head. I have a mental picture of every one of the wonderful people you have created. Just seem to have trouble with those two.
You have significantly and positively effected my life, many thanks!

    1. Argh! I can’t believe I forgot to reply to this! I’m so sorry. Anyway, thank you! I’m so glad to hear that you enjoyed the stories. As to you kinda-question: Dara Torres would be a good double for Dana (and she was a swimmer, double-score!), and in my head when I was writing Regan I was picturing Brittany Snow ala Chloe Beale from Pitch Perfect.

  17. Hi! Okay so Charlotte’s and Mackayla’s love story was my favorite love story of your books. I love them all but they were my #1 ladies. Now, I’ve gotta say they are no longer first because Campbell and Emma are my new #1 ladies. They’re so incredibly cute and sweet. They just melt my ice cold heart. I found out you had a new book just a couple days ago and I’ve already read it twice. I just love them!

  18. I’ve read all of your books, and I want to say how I love the random crossovers, from characters enjoying the music of Melody Gardot, Maeve’s books,to chartered cruises on Veritas, to enjoying the wines from Spectrum. One would never know all of the books are in the same “universe” unless one pays attention. Well done!

    1. Aww, thank you! I have a lot of fun finding ways to sneak mentions of all of my past books into my current one, so it’s so nice to hear that someone else enjoys it too. It’s getting harder and harder as the books pile up, but I’m going to keep giving it my best shot. 😉 Thanks so much for reading!

  19. You are my favorite author! I love your books. My go to is Atramentum, I can read that book over and over again. What I thought would be cool, is if there could be like a Atramentum 2 or something from Mauve Dylon’s side.
Your awesome, keep up the great work!!
